Mācību vadības sistēmu integrācija angļu valodas stundās 10.klasē organizācijas un klasvadības uzlabošanai

Pētījuma mērķis – rast iespējas svešvalodu skolotājiem uzlabot mācību procesa organizāciju, tai skaitā palielinot iespējas pārraudzīt katra skolēna sekmes un piesaistīt pastāvīgu uzmanību mācību procesam. Pētījuma ietvaros darba autorei bija iespēja izmēģināt un salīdzināt trīs dažādas mācību vadības sistēmas svešvalodu mācību procesā, kas veicina skolēnu interesi mācību stundās, fokusējoties uz jauno vielu. Vienlaicīgi tiek atvieglots skolotāja uzdevums apkopot un analizēt pārbaudes darbu rezultātus, lai turpmākajā mācību vielas apguves procesā koncentrētos uz skolēnu vājākajām zināšnām. Intelligent Agents supporting user interactions within self regulated learning processes

The paper focuses on the main advantages in the defnition and utilization of an open and modular e-learning software platform to support highly cognitive tasks performed by the main actors of the learning process. We present in detail the integration inside the platform of two intelligent agents devoted to talking with the student and to retrieving new information sources on the Web. The process is triggered as a reply to the system’s perception that the student feels discontented with the presented contents. The architecture is detailed, and some conclusions about the growth of the platform’s overall performance are expressed.
Tehnoloģiju lietojums angļu valodas līdzskaņu aspirācijas mācīšanā

Aspirācijas parādība ir cieši saistīta ar angļu valodas izrunu, tādēļ izpētei kā mācīt aspirāciju ar datora palīdzību ir liela nozīme. Pētījuma mērķis bija izstrādāt uz tehnoloģijām balstītus vingrinājumus, kas varētu palīdzēt mācīt studentiem angļu valodas līdzskaņu aspirācijas aspektus. Teorija par līdzskaņu aspirāciju un valodas apguvi/pasniegšanu ar datoru palīdzību tika izpētīta, kā arī darba gaidā aspirācijas tēma tika pasniegta studentiem izmantojot Audacity programmu. Incorporating teacher-student dialogue into digital course material : Usage patterns and first experiences

This work-in-progress research investigates teacher-student communication via Learning Management Systems (LMS) in highly populated courses. An LMS called TIM (The Interactive Material) includes a specific commenting technology that attempts to make teacher-student dialog effortless. The research goal is to explore students’ willingness to use the technology and identify patterns of usage. To these ends, a survey with both Likert and open-ended questions was issued to CS1 and CS2 students.
